Morgantown, WV – Candidate for US Senate Chris Rose (R-WV) is a staunch supporter of medical freedom and condemns the despotism that is occurring at Cabell Huntington Hospital, also known as CHH, in Huntington, WV. CHH, like many others, has failed to honor the constitutional rights, liberties, and freedoms of the individual. How many more people need to lose their job, access to an education, or their American dream before those who took an oath to defend our constitutional rights act?
On January 12th, 2023, Cabell Huntington Hospital issued a letter that decreed:
"Our mitigation process is for all employees who are not fully vaccinated for COVID-19 who have an approved medical or religious exemption is to wear a mask while at work"
"To help identify those who are required to wear a mask we are requiring a gold star sticker be placed on the employee’s ID badge."
This is in direct violation of the US Constitution, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, and the West Virginia Constitution, where in Article 3, Section 15, religious freedoms are guaranteed. To forcibly make an employee wear a gold star to identify them as unvaccinated reminds me of the horrors of a totalitarian regime from the 1930s. No one should ever endure punishment or discrimination in the workplace for the medical decisions that they make.
I am heading to Charleston on January 19th, 2023, to our state capital to participate in a day dedicated to medical freedom and to meet with our state legislators about this pressing issue. I am calling for the passage of legislation that protects both religious and health freedom in West Virginia. I have been working with medical freedom groups for over two years to end all vaccine mandates in the state of West Virginia, and I will continue to do so until the voices of, We the People, are heard.
Once elected to the US Senate, I will, take on this fight on the national level and propose Health Freedom bills which will do the following:
Repeal the 1986 National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act
Repeal the 1980 Bayh-Dole Act
Prevent big pharma from being able to seal vaccine data away from the general public
Defund the WHO
Prevent American tax dollars from going to foreign nations for "gain of function" funding.
